This Privacy Policy explains how Throwing Eights Pty Ltd (ABN 53 670 017 802) (“Throwing Eights”, “onesnap”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use onesnap.

By using onesnap, you acknowledge that your information may be collected and used as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Our Privacy Commitment

Your photos belong to you.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use your photos for advertising.

We do not use your photos to train artificial intelligence models.

We collect only the information reasonably required to operate, maintain, improve, and secure onesnap.

2. What Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use onesnap.

Event Hosts

If you create an event or purchase a paid service, we may collect:

• your name;
• email address;
• account information;
• event information;
• payment and transaction information;
• communications with us;
• reviews, ratings and feedback you choose to give us; and
• content uploaded to your events.

Event Participants

If you join an event as a guest or participant, we may collect:

• a display name chosen by you;
• photos, videos, comments, captions, and other content you upload;
• event participation information;
• reviews, ratings and feedback you choose to give us; and
• technical information required to operate the service.

We generally do not verify guest identities.

Automatically Collected Information

When you use onesnap, we may automatically collect information such as:

• browser type;
• device type;
• operating system;
• IP address;
• pages viewed;
• usage activity;
• timestamps;
• performance and diagnostic information; and
• security and fraud-prevention information.

For host accounts, we also record your device’s time zone when you sign in and derive an approximate country from it. We keep this with the IP address listed above for account security, fraud prevention and support, and we delete it when your account is deleted.

3. Photos, Videos and Event Content

onesnap is designed to allow participants to contribute content to shared event galleries.

When content is uploaded:

• copyright remains with the uploader;
• the content becomes part of the event collection;
• the event host may view, download, store, retain, print, share, and use the content as described in our Terms of Use;
• other event participants may view content shared within the event.

Because event content may be downloaded or retained by hosts and participants, removing content from onesnap may not remove copies already downloaded or retained by others.

4. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

onesnap does not intentionally collect or retain:

• GPS location data embedded in photos;
• camera EXIF metadata;
• device-identifying photo metadata; or
• biometric or facial recognition data.

We do not perform facial recognition.

We do not use uploaded photos to identify individuals.

5. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide and operate onesnap;
• create and manage events;
• process uploads and downloads;
• authenticate users;
• provide customer support;
• process payments;
• secure the platform;
• investigate misuse;
• improve the service;
• analyse usage and engagement;
• develop new features;
• communicate with users; and
• comply with legal obligations.

Reviews and testimonials. After an event has ended and its gallery is revealed, hosts, guests and gallery viewers may be invited to rate onesnap and leave optional comments. Leaving a review is always voluntary, is never required to view photos, and is never rewarded. Reviews are stored privately with your rating, your comments, whether you were the host, a guest or a gallery viewer, and the permissions you chose. We publish a review on our website or in our marketing only with the permission you give when you submit it, attributed the way you chose (your first name, or only “Event host” / “Event guest” / “Gallery viewer”). A published review never includes your event name, guest list, photos, email address or gallery link. You can withdraw that permission at any time from the event gallery or by contacting us, after which we stop using the review and remove it from our website.

6. Analytics and Product Improvement

We use analytics and similar technologies to understand how onesnap is used and how we can improve it.

Analytics may help us understand:

• feature usage;
• event engagement;
• gallery activity;
• platform performance;
• customer preferences; and
• interest in products and services offered through onesnap.

Analytics information is generally used in aggregated or statistical form where possible.

7. Marketing Communications

We may send platform users information about:

• product updates;
• new features;
• promotions;
• special offers;
• print products;
• photo books;
• event-related products and services; and
• other onesnap offerings.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

We may still send important service-related communications that are necessary to operate your account, events, or purchases.

8. Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate onesnap.

These providers may include:

• hosting and cloud providers;
• payment processors;
• analytics providers;
• email and communications providers;
• customer support providers;

onesnap operates internationally.

Event photos and guests’ display names are deleted 90 days after the event ends, or after its reveal if that is later, unless a different period applies to that event.

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

You may request access to personal information we hold about you.

You may also request correction of inaccurate information.

We may need to verify your identity before processing requests.

14. Children’s Privacy

onesnap is intended for users aged 16 years and older.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising minors who use the service.

If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, please contact us.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on the onesnap website and will take effect when published unless otherwise stated.
